April 4-H Project - DIY Pringles Can Paint Brush Holder

We will be making a

DIY Pringles Can Paint Brush Holder for our 4-H project for April.

Save those Pringles Cans.

You can also use the can for other things!

Materials Needed:

  1. Rinse out the Pringles can quickly without letting the water sit in it too long, it’ll get soggy. Dry off completely.
  2. Cut a piece of paper to fit the Pringles can plus two inches lengthwise.
  3. Spread a thin layer of glue on the back on the paper and place just below the lip of the can. Press paper to the can slowly, smoothing out air bubbles as you wrap it around the can.
  4. Fold over the 2 inches of excess paper on the bottom of the can, wrapping it like a present.
  5. Tie the ribbon into a bow on the front and secure the ribbon on the back with a small amount of Mod Podge.

4-H for February 2012

For January 4-H we are going to be making a bandana pillow. You will need two bandanas . If you are a girl you might want to use lace . boys will just need the bandanas. You also need some fiberfill or pillow filling. There were a lot of fun examples online .Like red pillows with white lace and a blue star , to make it look cowboy . Others just did a white bandana for a nice clean look . Go to hobby lobby or Joanns and get your bandanas, there are so many choices . We will see you at 4-h.
Remember if you have not filled out 4-h application form and given me a dollar please do so thank you .
